Triton Poker is a poker brand that brings together affluent professional and recreational players. It is high-stakes tournaments that have gained notoriety in the poker world in a short period of time. The 2019 event in London, has a buy-in of over 1 million pounds. It is the biggest buy-in in the history of live poker.
I appreciate that Sharehand team gave me an opportunity to work on the design of the space for such a grand event. We have created an overall atmosphere that reflects the corporate identity of Triton Poker brand: modern, minimalistic and high quality.
My task was to arrange a spacious stage in the hall for two final tables, as well as seats for spectators. I had to determine the maximum possible number of outer tables in the hall, allocate an area for 2 TV studios, the player registration desk and a small lounge area. We had 740 m2 for everything.
After analysing the corporate identity of Triton Poker, the style direction of the stage design, colour gamut and materials were selected. The central elements of the space are 2 decorative lamps rising above the tables on the stage. The intersecting lines of light symbolize the vibrant game and dynamic rhythm of the big city where the festival was held. The design was contrasting and symmetrical. The finishing includes black glossy surfaces, leather and bright lighting elements. LED-screens are installed on the stage. Some special animated 3D-graphics on the theme of London was created for these screens. In the centre of the stage there is a table for the cup being struggled for.
The TV studio is an oval raised platform with a table for 3 people. The studio is located in such a way that the scene is always visible in the frame.
